175 T

Designed to travel.

One of the most significant feats achieved with a Ducati during the 20th century came at the hands of Leopoldo Tartarini and Giorgio Monetti.

With the aim of promoting both the brand at global level and the 175 T, Tartarini and Monetti set off on a 60,000 km journey, crossing five continents and travelling through thirty-six countries.

As a result, Ducati did not only boost its popularity around the world, but also showcased the reliability of the 14 hp single overhead camshaft engine that equipped the 175 T, a direct descendant of the Marianna designed by engineer Taglioni.
