Ducati opens a new dealership in Barcelona

Ducati reinforces its presence in Spain with the opening of an exclusive showroom in the heart of the city of Barcelona, just a few steps from the Sagrada Familia. The new reference point for Ducatisti in the Catalonia region has a space of 300 m2 dedicated exclusively to the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer.

There is an historical link between Barcelona and Ducati, since the Catalan city was the only place outside Italy to produce Ducati motorbikes under license between 1960 and the end of the 1970s. Furthermore, Ducati's historic victories in the 24 Hours of Montjuïc represent an enviable record: 12 of the 36 editions were won by Ducati bikes.

The new flagship store, located in calle Mallorca n.499, expresses in every single detail all the values of the Italian excellence and Ducati DNA. The different areas inside the dealership contain all the models of the Ducati and Scrambler Ducati range, including the DesertX, and a boutique dedicated to Ducati accessories and clothing. A space is also reserved for the assistance service center.

The inauguration was attended by Ducati MotoGP rider Jorge Martin of the Pramac Racing team, actor and Ducatista Maxi Iglesias and Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales Ducati Motor Holding.

"I am glad to be present at the opening of this beautiful Ducati showroom in such an important city. I want to thank Floreal Perez, the owner of Ducati Barcelona, for his passion and dedication for Ducati", declared Francesco Milicia. "Barcelona is not only the main area of the motorcycle market in Spain, but also a territory with a special link to the world of bikes and to Ducati, which is indissolubly part of the history of the 24 Hours of Montjuïc. That is why we have put all our efforts into providing Barcelona with a representation on a par with these two world icons: Barcelona and Ducati. A commitment that will certainly continue in the future. We are pleased to see that the results of this strategy are already being felt in the market with sales growth in Q1 2022 of 20%, despite the difficulties in the world of supplies that the industry is experiencing”.
