Second edition of Ducati China Panigale Cup officially kicks off during DRE Racetrack Academy in Shaoxing

A first class team of Ducati instructors hold the 2020 Ducati Racetrack Academy at Zhejiang International Circuit in Shaoxing. 

The two-days course offered thrilling moments on the racetrack to the 64 riders. They received not only DRE Racetrack Academy certificate but also the official Chinese racing license, that will allow them to participate to local two-wheels Championships in China. 

Besides improving their racetrack skills, all the participants attended the inaugural Launch Conference for the 2020 Ducati China Panigale Cup (DCPC) competition, the second season of Ducati’s mono-brand race for non-professional riders in China. 

During the press conference it was announced the yearly plan for this year’s Cup, patronized by Ducati China in collaboration with the Organizer Ranking Racing Motorsport Department (Tianjin) Co., Ltd and the well-known Hong Kong racer Mr. Simon Kwan. 

Ducati China Panigale Cup has already become a milestone of Ducati and in the Chinese motorcycle market, with amateur riders having the chance to attend an official and professional mono-brand Championship. This year 15 riders have been subscribed for this exciting challenge, 

coming from all over China. For the first time this year riders can participate either individually or joining their Dealer’s Team; this year’s DCPC will count on the presence of official dealers from Shanghai, Shanghai Shanqi, Ducati Beijing and Hangzhou. 

The selected bike also for this 2020 DCPC Season is the Panigale 959, the most versatile and agile Superbike inside Ducati model range. Combining superb performance, cutting-edge technology and agile handling, it provides every rider with top-rate Racetrack experiences. 

Not only racing: the novice racers will enjoy a premium hospitality during the race and a customized livery on their bikes and Ducati equipment.
