Another splendid leader table with five Ducatis in the top five positions. In particular, a perfect weekend for Pecco, who scores a one-two, his fourth this year, sealing his eighth seasonal win in the long race, as but a few champions have been able to achieve in MotoGP’s history. Once again and in the most crucial moments, he was able to masterfully manage the technical and competitive resources at his disposal, optimising them as best he knows how. Not only did he shorten the gap in the championship standings but he also reaffirmed his strength and determination, his psychological resilience in a season finale that is set to be fiery and highly exciting. With a scorching start he immediately imposed himself in a race that he dominated from first lap to last, a masterpiece built with intelligence, experience and supreme speed, always keeping his lead over Martin under control.

A Martin who, in other respects, is not to be outdone: a monstrous first lap, which saw him close to the leaders in no time at all, anticipating a great comeback that took him to second position, vying for the lead, only to realise that he had to settle for a second place that is however pure gold. He cut his losses in an exemplary manner both in the Sprint and in Sunday's race, keeping his grip on a World Championship which he has so far conducted with great tenacity; it was a weekend spent in chasing, conditioned “only” by the unfortunate position he had on the starting grid.

An important podium was gained by Marc Marquez after a complicated qualifying run. He managed to fend off well the attempts of a Bastianini who, as fiercely as usual, was the protagonist in the second half of the race after a somewhat tentative start that conditioned his entire race. We must take into account that these two are contesting a prestigious third place in the championship standings, with a gap that currently is of merely 2 points.

Speaking of the Championship Crown... as is said: whatever the result, for us it will spell success! Yes, come what may! Mission accomplished: maths tells us that one of our riders will still be at the top of the world standings. This fills us with pride and prepares us for a great Ducati party, regardless of who the Champion will actually be. We are ready to enjoy a spectacular finale, that will be exactly that... spectacular! Always under the banner of sportsmanship, in what must be a distinguishing trait for a sport like ours, displaying all its grandeur!

Come on, Ducati!
