Seven milestones of Ducati history enriched the contest organized by the Polo Storico Lamborghini, the department that preserves the brand’s historical heritage and restores classic models.
Together with more than thirty vehicles built between 1963 and 1991 by the Casa del Toro, the seven bikes paid tribute to the creative genius of Gae Aulenti, born near Trieste and famous for representing Italian design and architecture all over the world.
The participants travelled along more than 200km from Venice to Trieste, passing through the Opicina hillclimb. This road has been the site of epic challenges of the motor-racing world from 1911 to 1971 in the homonym hillclimb.
