Discover moreDucati Corse is pleased to announce the extension of its collaboration with the Gresini Racing MotoGP through the 2026 season.
The team from Faenza has demonstrated remarkable strength and professionalism, enabling riders such as Enea Bastianini to rise to prominence and earn a promotion to the Ducati Lenovo Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio to achieve his first victory riding the Desmosedici GP, and Marc Márquez to make the jump to the factory team starting next year. Now, the team led by Nadia Padovani will be tasked with guiding Fermín Aldeguer in his MotoGP debut after two seasons as a key player in the Moto2 World Championship. The Spanish rider will join compatriot Alex Márquez, already confirmed for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Luigi Dall'Igna (Ducati Corse General Manager):
“We are delighted to be able to continue our collaboration with the Gresini family until 2026. Under Nadia’s leadership, the team has achieved significant goals in these years, showcasing its strength and professionalism. The Gresini Racing team has successfully guided various riders to success, including some very young talents. Therefore, we are confident it is the ideal structure to welcome Fermín Aldeguer and support him in his MotoGP debut. Once again, I thank Nadia and the entire Gresini family. We look forward to sharing more exciting moments.”
Nadia Padovani Gresini (Team Owner, Gresini Racing):
“Family is the foundation of our team and our history in the World Championship. It is a great pleasure for us to welcome one of the most promising youngsters in the Championship, and it will be our responsibility to protect him and help him grow to achieve the results that have always distinguished us. He will be with us for the next two seasons, and Ducati will remain with us until at least 2026. So, we are doubly happy. Welcome, Fermín!”
Fermín Aldeguer (2025-2026 Gresini Racing MotoGP Rider):
“I’m so happy to join the Gresini family. It’s an incredible opportunity to debut in MotoGP with this fantastic team, where great riders have raced and with the best bike on the grid. I hope to adapt quickly to the GP24. There will be one step at a time, but I’m eager to be in Valencia for the first tests for next year. Thanks to Nadia and Gigi for their trust—I will repay it.”
