First stage of DRE Road 2020: many enthusiastic participants in Modena

On 20 and 21 June, at the Autodromo di Modena circuit, the Ducati Academy season began with the first stage of the DRE Road, the course that allows to improve riding control by testing all models in the Ducati range (except the Panigale bikes reserved for the DRE Racetrack racing courses).

Both dates (Saturday and Sunday) were sold out and all activities took place in full compliance with Ducati anti-Covid protocol.

Participants could try out many specific exercises to improve their riding style and raise awareness in a variety of situations, always under the watchful eye of the most qualified instructors.

The two days were dedicated to improving riding control through different exercises: avoid sudden obstacles, emergency braking on asphalt and on sandy ground, up to specific technical exercises on trajectories and tackling different types of curves. The techniques acquired by the participants were then put into practice in dedicated sessions on the racetrack, always under the constant control of the DRE instructors.

The entire range (excluding the Panigale bikes) was available to the participants, who had the opportunity to test the outfits, first of all the Cornering ABS. The Streetfighter V4, one the bikes available for the course, received much attention.

At the same time as the DRE Road, at the same circuit, the DRE Rookie took place: this course is dedicated to young people aged 18 to 24 years old who ride derated bikes, who could test all the derated bikes in the range and improve their approach to riding in complete safety.
