An even greater satisfaction because this is a win that has been missing here since 2008: a track that is as prestigious as it is demanding, where engine and smooth running go hand in hand. The ability, the strength and the experience of a superlative Pecco who rose to the occasion, taking the lead from the very start with authority and precision. His was indeed a superb race, and above all, rewarding from a psychological point of view. Following the falls in the last few races, a lot of pressure came to bear upon him, but he managed it in an exemplary way, that was even more so in difficult weather conditions. And then, the young talent of a scintillating Bezzecchi, with his determination to hold on to a second place that counts as much as a victory. Jack put in an exciting progression with a comeback that also led him to challenge for the third place that would have been the “cherry on the top” of an already very special Sunday. A clear-cut strategy, faultlessly carried out: everything ran smoothly, without any hitches. We’re soaring high now, but should say nothing more, being fully aware of the many races and opportunities still to come, in which we will be able to prove our mettle.
