This special event will showcase a brand-new 2024 Scrambler Icon, transformed into an awe-inspiring work of art by Mickalene Thomas, a renowned artist widely celebrated aesthetic languages within contemporary visual culture.The private reception unveils Mickalene Thomas's work to the public, ahead of its sale at Heritage on May 23rd. Proceeds from this partnership will underwrite RxART's art installation for the SUNY Upstate: Nappi Wellness Institute in Syracuse, New York, opening this month. RxART commissions established contemporary artists to transform children's hospital settings into engaging and uplifting healing environments at no cost to the hospitals.
