Ducati Streetfighter V4 Supreme is equipped with the 208 hp 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale. The maximum torque value of 90.4 lb-ft (12.5 kgm) at 9500 rpm is practically unchanged with respect to the Panigale V4.

A dynamic and sports-oriented model that further develops the concepts of the Fight Formula. The aerodynamic layout features two wings arranged in a biplane configuration that function independently and have a reduced span to minimize lateral bulk. The wings are positioned as close to the front wheel as possible to maximize the anti-wheelie effect.

With a tank shape that supports the rider when braking, Streetfighter V4 Supreme uses the “Front Frame” derived from the MotoGP experience, with the Desmosedici Stradale engine acting as a structural element to reduce the size and weight of the main frame. The chassis is rounded out with semi-active Öhlins suspension with SmartEC 2.0. interface and Marchesini 3-spoke forged aluminum alloy wheels.

Aerodynamic development with CFD simulations

The aerodynamic development consisted entirely of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations aimed at increasing the vertical force on the vehicle, particularly on the front wheel. The biplane configuration of the wings, designed by Ducati Corse in collaboration with Centro Stile Ducati, offers maximum stability both at high speed and in braking, and reduces any wheelieing in acceleration, for more swift and agile behaviour on mixed surfaces.

Power Modes derived from Panigale V4

The state-of-the-art electronics incorporate the Power Modes introduced with the Panigale V4. Calibration is specific to the Desmosedici Stradale engine in its Streetfighter configuration, with four engine delivery strategies: Full, High, Medium, and Low. 

Chassis layout with Front Frame and single-sided swingarm

In addition to the Front Frame, aluminum single-sided swingarm and semi-active Öhlins suspension with SmartEC 2.0 interface, the chassis layout comprises a trellis seat post frame, fastened at the top to the “Front Frame” and at the bottom to the rear bank head. 

This makes for a matchless rigidity/weight ratio and compact forms, particularly in the rider seat area. 

Lithium-ion battery

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Supreme® is equipped with lithium-ion battery which reduces the kerb weight by 3.7 lbs with respect to the standard version.
