The Italian sports motorcycle company Ducati has opened its first dealership in Central Florida that deals exclusively with the brand.
The new Sanford location, at 3710 W. 1st St., opened officially Wednesday and included the unveiling of what it’s calling the fastest motorcycle in production, the Panigale V4 R, along with its other 2019 lineup.
There are a handful of dealerships in Central Florida that sell Ducati motorcycles but this marks the first in the area that is exclusively Ducati and includes a service center with technicians who specialize in Ducati. The only other exclusive dealership in Florida is in Miami.
“Florida has always been an important place for the motorcycling community, with both year-round riding weather and beautiful rural roads just begging to be explored,” said Ducati North America CEO Jason Chinnock said in a release.
In the release, company representatives said the location is ideal because of its proximity to Orlando and Daytona Beach.
“The proximity to I-4 and the overall growth in this area has been amazing for shopping and entertainment,” Ducati Sanford’s principal dealer Nate Stickney said in the release. “We’re extremely honored to have the opportunity and want to do a great job for Ducati and the customers.”
