851 F90

Two years after its first success on the track, Ducati obtained its first riders’ world championship title with the French rider Raymond Roche. The success of the transalpine rider is linked to the 851 racing.

The launch of the 851 in 1987 immediately refreshed Ducati’s image and impressed test riders with the power of its engine. Continuous improvements have made it the most important four-stroke motorbike of its time, demonstrating both the style and spectacular technical expertise of the Ducati brand.
