Adam Child and Bike World test out the Panigale V4 rider aids on a wet track

Adam ‘Chad’ Child recently tested the Panigale V4’s full suite of rider aids in anger at a wet Vallelunga Circuit, situated 20 miles north of Rome.

“When most people are heading into the garage and packing up in terrible weather I actually quite like the rain. This is a test I've been wanting to do for years, and Ducati have given us the opportunity to ride the brand new Panigale V4 S in absolute biblical rain to see how the rider rids affect what I'm doing on track.

To back all that up we've had a full data logger so we can see what the rider aids are doing, how they're intervening, and how they're saving me from launching myself into oblivion. These rider aids just make wet track days like this more enjoyable because you can just continue riding… It was a phenomenal day.”

The electronic solutions built into the new Panigale V4 make it even more sophisticated, safer and able to amplify the riding capabilities of every rider. These include the Ducati Data Logger (DDL), Event-based” Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0 software, Advanced Riding Modes, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0,
