Annual Paid Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holiday (pro-rata)

Salary: Competitive (Terms & Conditions TBC).

Job Description:

- We are looking for an undergraduate student undertaking a business-related degree to join our team on a 12-month industrial placement.  

- You will be mainly working as part of the marketing team, reporting to the marketing manager, however you will also support the Commercial, Office and Warehouse teams when necessary. Your position at Ducati will be fluid, therefore your daily tasks will vary depending on the needs of the team.  

- The successful candidate will be highly organised, adaptable, and able to multitask. You will contribute towards projects and may have the opportunity to manage some with help from staff in the relevant departments. 

- In your role, you will work with data to produce and analyse information that will be used by the management team to make strategic decisions. Applicants must be willing to assist with general administration duties and attend industry events. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to travel for short periods abroad and it is therefore advantageous to hold a passport.  

- You must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.  

Responsibilities include:  

- Analysing and presenting data to support the management team.  

- Liaising with Ducati dealers, external agencies and business partners for event preparation. 

- Market research   

- Composing and presenting reports on Ducati daily and monthly market performance.  

- Coordinating special mini projects  

- Event spokesperson – engaging with the public at shows and collecting customer lead information.  

- Office Administration tasks 

Skills:  

- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking skills. 

- Good verbal and written communication skills 

- Strong working ability with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel. 

- A dedicated mindset to all tasks at hand  

- Good research skills  

- Digital marketing knowledge – preferred not a requirement. 

- A passion for motorcycles or a strong interest in the general automotive industry 

- The ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality. 

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK. They will also need either a valid UK driving license or valid UK motorcycle license. This role is only open to undergraduates who need to undertake a year out in industry as part of their degree course.
