The excellence of Brembo's exclusive components

The new Brembo T-Drive finned discs and GP4 Sport Production brake calipers are components directly derived from equipment used in World Superbike, the same ones that raced the Lenovo Race of Champions 2024, and are designed to take braking performance to the max.
Brembo T-Drive Finned Discs
Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, together with Panigale V4 Tricolore, is the first production sports bike equipped with 338.5 mm and 6.2 mm thick Brembo racing finned T-Drive discs, which increase braking power and performance consistency. These discs are derived from the racing discs fitted in World Superbike on the most demanding circuits and are the same ones fitted in the Lenovo Race of Champions 2024 during World Ducati Week in Misano.

The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is the first bike to be equipped with Brembo's new GP4 Sport Production monoblock calipers machined from billet. The distinguishing feature of the GP4 Sport Production is the introduction of cooling fins on the outer body typical of racing calipers that greatly improve heat exchange, aiding cooling and making it ideal for intense track use.

Brembo T-Drive Finned Discs

Brembo T-Drive Finned Discs as standard

The Panigale V4 Tricolore and Italia are the first production sport bikes to be equipped with Brembo T-Drive finned discs, derived from the racing discs fitted in World Superbike on brake demanding circuits such as Misano, Portimão, and Aragon. The new discs are designed for professional riders who require a system with superior braking power and high consistency of performance in races or during long track sessions.

Diameter of 338.5 mm and thickness of 6.2 mm

With a larger diameter (338.5 mm) and thickness (6.2 mm) than those of the Panigale V4 S, these discs have an increased surface area due to the finning of the braking band, which together with the greater thickness, dissipate heat more effectively and maintain lower operating temperatures, ensuring a high consistency of performance, reducing brake lever elongation. The larger diameter provides greater braking torque, so with the same amount of force exerted there is greater deceleration resulting in a more efficient system.

Light and powerful

The T-shaped conformation of the connecting pins between the braking band and the flange allows both radial and axial floatation, enabling improved braking torque transmission, reduced overall disc weight, and increased resistance to thermo-mechanical stresses.

A summary of the benefits

A summary of the benefits of these exclusive components:
- increased braking torque
- higher efficiency
- greater deceleration than standard brake discs for the same amount of force exerted
- greater thermal stability
- high constancy of performance
- reduced brake lever elongation
- racing aesthetics

GP4 Sport Production brake calipers

Exclusively on Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia

The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is the first bike to be equipped with Brembo's new GP4 Sport Production monoblock calipers machined from billet.

Made from billet aluminum

GP4 Sport Production calipers are machined from a single block of aluminium, with precision CNC machining, like those used in MotoGP and WorldSBK. Compared to calipers made by casting, machining from billet allows the use of materials with better mechanical properties, greater resistance to high temperatures and, consequently, an overall improvement in performance. The design of the GP4 Sport Production brake caliper is complemented by the exclusive titanium colouring.

Cooling fins for improved performance

The distinguishing element of the GP4 Sport Production is the introduction of cooling fins on the outer body typical of racing calipers. These greatly improve heat transfer, aiding the cooling of the caliper and making it ideal for heavy track use.
