DesmoSport Ducati Primed for Round Two of the ASBK

DesmoSport Ducati is primed for round two of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend for a two-day schedule that will see Qualifying from 8:20pm Friday, and racing at 4:55pm and 9pm Saturday night. The two 13-lap races are set to challenge both the rider and team as changing weather conditions are predicted across the weekend in what has become somewhat of a tradition at the spectacular event.

Team Owner, Ben Henry: "I'm honestly excited about this season. We're racing on a tight budget, in a longer season than 2024 by 2 races and we've got a really strong team of people. We head into Sydney knowing we have the tools to get the job done. Broc is riding the best I've seen him ride, especially having the confidence to make strong passes the way he had to at Phillip Island, and we've been working non-stop on the Panigale V4 R to continually improve the package we're giving him. The night racing always adds a different element, it's a spectacle to watch and I'm really looking forward to it, although it looks like the weather will once again be a big factor with some rain expected."

Broc Pearson: "I need to get some more points on the board this weekend. Last year we had some good results in mixed conditions, and we've done a lot of work to improve our speed in the dry here, so I'm confident we can have a strong result this weekend. We haven't had an opportunity to ride the bike too much since Phillip Island with the Queensland weather causing some havoc up here, but I've kept to my training schedule, and the team have been focused on the bike back at Cube (Performance Centre) and I think we're in a good position to capitalise this weekend."
