Scott Redding was born in Quedgeley on 4 January 1993. He started racing at the age of 12 and within three years he joined the world championship, making his debut in the 125cc class at the 2008 Qatar GP. Scott's talent was evident from the very first race, finishing fifth and riding the fastest lap in the race. A few months later on his home track at Donington Park Redding earned his first win and became the youngest rider ever to win a world championship race. He continued with the 125cc the following year and then moved on to Moto 2 in 2010, finishing eighth in the final standings.  

He remained in Moto2 in 2011 and 2012, finishing fifteenth and fifth respectively. But it was in 2013 that Scott really caught everyone's attention, completing an impressive season that included three victories, three second places and a third that earned him second place in the final ranking. Only an injury suffered in Australia, which forced him to skip a race and ride injured in the final races, deprived him of the chance to fight for the title until the end.

Thanks to these results he moved to MotoGP in 2014, racing in the Open category. The English rider was just as fast in this class, finishing the season in 12th place overall. The next season he would ride a real MotoGP, earning a podium with a strong third place at the Grand Prix of San Marino. His performance caught the attention of Ducati, which added him to the Pramac Racing team for the two-year period 2016-2017. The first season he took another podium and came close several times, ending up 15th for the year, while the following season his 14th place finish was not enough to keep him on the team. Redding continued in MotoGP for another year, but the disappointing results pushed him to change category and in 2019 he tackled the British Superbike Championship (BSB) riding a Panigale V4 R.  

With 11 victories and 9 podiums, at the end of a hard-fought season Scott Redding became the British Superbike champion. This victory earned him a call from Aruba.it Racing - Ducati, which will field him in next season in the World Superbike Championship on the official Panigale V4 R.  

In his WorldSBK debut season with the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team, Scott Redding was the protagonist of a fantastic championship. The British rider fought until the last race weekend for the World Championship title, finishing the season as runner-up. In the 2020 season Redding scored 5 wins, 14 podiums and 1 pole position.
