In the Ducati Connect App set the following authorisations (some are specific for the smartphone operating system):

No, Bosch MySpin is only compatible with Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps. Sygic has a large and comprehensive set of maps and works even without network coverage, making it approved by Bosch.

You can connect an external navigator, but it cannot be used via the Ducati Connect system.

The headset pairing process is similar to that of a smartphone.

1. Set the headset in Bluetooth pairing mode (this mode activation is specific for each model, so it is recommended to refer to the device's use and maintenance manual) by acting on the Interactive Menu of your Multistrada selecting the item Bluetooth -> Pairing -> Rider 1 (or Passenger 2) and pressing Enter.
2. Wait for the end of the Bluetooth device search.
3. Select the device from those listed and press Enter.

Note: the headset shall only be paired via Bluetooth to the dashboard. It is still possible to pair and use other headsets, but their proper functioning is not guaranteed.

The Nolan B901X headset has the following Bluetooth pairing modes:

• Phone;
• Intercom;
• Ncom;
• Universal intercom;

When pairing the headset to the dashboard (whether Pilot or Passenger) it is recommended to use the 'Phone' mode.

Note: if the headset is paired to the dashboard in any mode other than 'Phone' mode, the correct functioning of the audio functions of calls, music and voice indications of the navigation system is not guaranteed.

You can adjust the volume either by accessing the dedicated item (Volume) in the main dashboard screen menu, or by quick access with prolonged rightward pressure on the left switch joystick. A graphic indication will show the audio source being adjusted and the volume level set.

Note: also be sure to properly adjust the volume setting on the smartphone and on the headset (refer to the device's use and maintenance manual if necessary).

It's not possibile to use the iOS smartphone with the lock screen. Instead, it is allowed to lock the Android smartphone, but remembering that the screen cannot be kept off.

Typically, when the motorbike is turned on after an extended stop (of at least 20 minutes), it is necessary to wait for the reconnection time - about 60 seconds from the key switch-on - for the Ducati Connect connection to be restored.

With the latest improvements to the infotainment system, the possibility of keeping the connection active during a short stop (up to 20 minutes) has been introduced: when the vehicle is turned off with the key switch, if the connection to Ducati Connect is active a message will appear on the dashboard to inform that by pressing the center button on the left switch joystick it is possible to keep the connection active for an additional 20 minutes, even with the bike turned off.

Note: obviously, it is necessary to stay within the coverage range of the Wi-Fi network, about a maximum of 20-25 meters away from the bike. Also remembering the dashboard is still connected to the headset during this phase.
