New V2 engine

The new V2 engine is the lightest twin-cylinder that Ducati has ever produced. Its lightness significantly contributes to the reduction in overall weight of the Multistrada V2, to the benefit of handling and riding comfort.

Versatile, efficient and fun

890 cc and 115 hp packed into just 54.4 kg. Offering benchmark performance in the category, the new V2 engine promises a prompt response and generous torque that makes it a lot of fun on the road, without sacrificing that typical Ducati sports attitude. An engine that combines power and fun, perfectly adapting to any type of route and usage.

The addition of a larger flywheel heightens the smoothness at low revs, making for even more enjoyable riding during transition phases, like when exiting a turn or in urban traffic.
performance Always available torque
Thanks to variable timing, the power is maximised at the top end but with a smooth and immediate response at low rpm. The torque curve is optimised to ensure full and progressive acceleration, ideal for both winding roads and everyday use.
Efficiency Reduced consumption
Thanks to variable timing technology, the Multistrada V2 engine ensures a reduction in consumption of up to 7% as well as lower maintenance costs. Every trip becomes more sustainable, with reduced emissions and greater autonomy, while never compromising on performance.

The touring version of the new twin is developed to offer maximum comfort and versatility over long range. With optimised gearing for better adaptability, a perfected torque curve and greater consumption efficiency, every trip become easier and more pleasant, for uncompromised riding, even over long distances.

Ducati Quick Shift 2.0

The new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 uses a sensor positioned directly on the gear drum, for an immediate connection between pedal and transmission. The result is more precise feeling and rapid shifting, for a better overall riding experience.

New V2 engine

The lightest twin ever produced in Borgo Panigale. Substantial torque delivery at all engine speeds and real sports performance at the top end make for maximum riding enjoyment .
