Every pen is hand machined from a solid piece of aluminium and the design recalls the cooling fins and knurled finishes typical of the Ducati racing motorcycles of that era. Available in anodised red and super matte chrome, the pen can function as a ball-point with Easy Flow system or a 0.7mm pencil and comes in retro-styled packaging that captures the heritage of the motorcycles on display in the Ducati Museum in Bologna, Italy.
The ‘Museo Ducati Collection' is the result of two companies passionate about preserving the style of products "Made in Italy". The new pen, and the collection to which it belongs, is part of a licensing agreement between the Ducati Foundation and 3.6.5 by Giuliano Mazzuoli, with all royalties donated to support the social and cultural activities of the Foundation.
The ‘Officina 125 Gran Sport' pen will be available in prestigious stationary and specialty shops worldwide from April 2011.
