900 MHR

The 900 Mike Hailwood™ Replica was built from 1979 onwards.

The first MHR series was still equipped with a kick-starter.

The 900 GT stayed in production until 1983. The 1000 cc version would come up next.

The top-selling Ducati models at the time were the 900 MHR and the stylish 900 Supersport.

The 900 MHR and the Supersport were among the last products to bear the Ducati logo, and still used the bevel-gear twin-cylinder engine.

The 860cc engine fitted on the Ducati 900SS and MHR in the late 70s.

The Mike Hailwood^TM Replica, the latest development of the renowned 900 Super Sport, was produced by Ducati to celebrate 1978 Tourist Trophy victory.

Created for hard-core Ducatisti, the bike was not even fitted with an electric starter. Stately and impressive, it was truly a biker's bike.
